What happens at GOe?

GOe has become a global community of knowledge, innovation, and talent, bringing together the research and innovation activities of the Technology Center, programs to promote innovation and support entrepreneurs, specialized master’s degrees and continuous education offerings, the organization of events, and the involvement of citizens in its various processes of research, innovation, and the promotion of a gastronomic culture.

GOe Tech Center

The research and innovative activity of GOe is being carried out through GOe Tech Center, Technological Center in Gastronomy, a space dedicated to innovation and research in the gastronomic sector. At GOe we promote transformative projects that redefine the future of gastronomy, combining knowledge and creativity to generate a positive impact. We focus on key areas such as health, sustainability, digitalization, sensory innovation and the development of new products, integrating new technologies and sustainable solutions that make a difference in the sector.

Entrepreneurship

If you have an idea, a project, or a startup that can transform gastronomy, this is your place. At GOe, we accompany you along the way — from the first validations to international expansion — with a community that supports and shares.

GIC Tokyo is an initiative aimed at fostering innovation and collaboration in the gastronomy sector. It seeks to attract and develop multidisciplinary talent by offering educational programs that train individuals from diverse fields—including entrepreneurs, chefs, scientists, and innovators—who are leading the way in gastronomy and food technology. Another fundamental goal is to promote synergies between companies through partnerships that lead to the co-creation of unique value propositions.

An innovative project designed by one of the leading architectural firms, BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), that, from its sustainable vision, creates new spaces for connection and dialogue between the city and gastronomy, destined to become a new icon for the city.

Located in the Gros neighborhood, in the heart of Donostia-San Sebastián, it will become an international epicenter for science and innovation in the field of gastronomy. The space will host research, education, and entrepreneurship activities while offering new gathering points for the community, creating dynamic spaces for citizens.
