Entrepreneurship Program

What is it?

The GOe Entrepreneurship Program supports projects that transform gastronomy, hospitality, and foodtech, while also integrating initiatives from the agricultural sector related to sustainability and generational renewal. With a flexible duration of up to 12 months, it offers personalized mentoring pathways, access to funding opportunities, and residencies tailored to each project.

This program is promoted by GOe and the Department of Food, Rural Development, Agriculture, and Fisheries of the Basque Government, in collaboration with BIC Gipuzkoa. Its goal is to foster projects that shape the future of gastronomy and food, and to connect them with the world.

Who is it for?

  • Entrepreneurial projects in early stages (MVP or POC) or with a validated business model. It is not necessary to be formally established as a company.
  • Startups or spin-offs working on solutions for the challenges in the agri-food, hospitality, or foodtech sectors.
  • Entrepreneurs, chefs, or hospitality professionals developing new restaurant concepts, gastronomic experiences, sustainable business models, or proposals based on technology or creativity.
  • Researchers or technologists with high-impact lines of work who wish to transfer their results to the market through entrepreneurship.
  • Projects in the agricultural or primary sector, especially those related to local producers, generational renewal in agriculture or livestock, product transformation, and territorial sustainability.
